Bridge at The Rag

Following on from a successful maiden event, we are pleased to invite you to our second Rag Bridge evening on Friday 18th September. The evening is designed to bring members together to enjoy good conversation, light competition, and the spirit of Club life through an evening of bridge.
This relaxed social occasion offers the ideal opportunity to meet like-minded individuals while exploring a fresh and engaging take on the classic game of bridge. Whether you choose to come solo, with a partner, or with a guest, you will be warmly welcomed.
Join us in the Marlborough Suite at 18:30, for a glass of wine before starting an evening of bridge. Midway through the event, sandwiches will be served, giving everyone a moment to pause, before resuming until approximately 2200.
The format will be cut-in Chicago bridge – calling “table up” after every four hands and cutting for a new partner – encouraging a light‑hearted and unrushed approach to the game. With no money at stake, the focus remains firmly on enjoying the company of fellow members and the devilish challenge of making those elusive contracts.
For those wishing to make a night of it, the weekend rate is available for members and their guests, with the added pleasure of enjoying breakfast at the Club the following morning.
